Description
Estogrout UW is supplied as a ready to use powder. The addition of a controlled amount of clean water produces a free flowing grout. The grout exhibits exceptional resistance to ‘washing-out’ of the cement phase when placed in stationary or moving water. Estogrout UW is a blend of cement, graded fine aggregate and chemical additives which impart controlled expansion, water reduction and non ‘wash-out’ characteristic. The aggregate grading minimises segregation and bleeding whilst assisting the flow characteristics.

Application Instructions
Ensure the substrate surface is clean and free from oil, grease, or loose material. Defective or laitance-affected concrete should be cut back to a sound base. Substrates permanently immersed require sand-blasting or high-pressure water jet cleaning, while non-immersed or intermittently immersed substrates can be scabbled or bush hammered as alternatives.
Formwork
The formwork should be constructed to be leakproof, as Estogrout UW is free flowing grout, using foam rubber strip or mastic sealant beneath the formwork and between joints. Coat all formwork with Estoform to enable easy formwork release.
Mixing
Use a mechanical grout mixer for best results. Ensure sufficient mixing capacity and labor availability for continuous operations. Mix 3.6 to 4.0 liters of water per 25 kg bag of Estogrout UW slowly into the mixer. Mix continuously for 2 minutes after adding all powder to achieve a smooth consistency.
Placing
Pour or pump the mixed grout within 20 minutes of mixing for optimal expansion. Maintain continuous flow using a flexible tremie tube to fill the formwork's lowest point. Adjust flow to prevent water entrapment, ensuring the tube does not rise above the grout surface.
Curing
Curing will not be required in intermittently or totally submerged situations. However, when cast above water, exposed areas should be thoroughly cured with Estocure curing membrane, continuous application of water

Storage
Estogrout UW has a shelf 12 months if kept in a dry slore in sealed bags. If stored in high temperature and high humidity locations, the shelf life may be reduced
Precaution
Estogrout UW contains harmful alkalis. Avoid inhalation and skin contact. Wear protective clothing, gloves, eye protection, and respiratory equipment. Rinse with water and soap if exposed, and seek medical advice if necessary. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowed—do not induce vomiting.
