Estopatch RSR should be stored on pallets in dry conditions. Under these conditions, the product will have a shelf life of 6 months.
Application Instruction
Surface Preparation
The repair area shall be thoroughly clean, free of laitance, oil, dust, grease, plaster, paint, corrosion and any other deleterious substances. Mark the area for repair using tape.
Mixing
Pre-mix Estopatch RSR Part A for 5 seconds with a mechanical hand mixer. Gradually add the full 5 kg bag of Estopatch RSR Part B and mix at 3000 – 3600 rpm for 30 – 60 s until smooth. Use within 15 minutes.
Placing
Place the mixed material within 10 minutes of mixing to maximize fluidity. Level the surface using a squeegee, trowel, or wood float. For a textured surface, use a roller or brush as the material starts to stiffen. Estopatch RSR can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 2 to 10 mm in a single application.
Limitation
For wide area application, it is suggest that the application should be conducted at night time. This is due to cool down the substrate surface temperature hence the workability of material become longer and easier for application. Please avoid to apply this product during rainy day.
Curing
After the application, the surface should be covered by a plastic sheet and a wooden board to avoid the dry out by the sun light and the damage by the forklift and vehicles. Generally, it should be cured for at least 1 day before opening the repaired area.
