Description
Estobond AR is a single component white, milky emulsion based upon modified acrylic type resins. It is formulated for use with Estopatch concrete repair mortar system and as a bonding agent for concrete and mortar. It is resistant to hydrolysis and therefore can be used in external or internal applications.

Application of Instruction
As a bonding agent
Preparation
For concrete repairs, remove loose, expose steel, saw cut edges 10mm, soak with water for 1 hour, and brush off excess before applying.
Mixing
Estobond AR is ready to use. Do not dilute with water or solvents of any kind. Pour into a container and apply to the prepared surface.
Application
Apply Estobond AR with a brush, ensuring full coverage. Use a stippling action. Apply Estopatch mortars or concrete immediately.
Warning
Avoid overapplying Estobond AR to prevent slippage. If Estobond AR dries over 8 hours at 20°C, reapply a fresh coat.

Mix designs
OPC (50 kg), Zone 2 sand (150 kg), Estobond AR (10 litres), Water (add sufficiently to give required consistency).
Storage
Store Estobond AR in a dry, covered place. It has a 12-month shelf life unopened, less in extreme heat.
Precaution
Estobond AR is non-toxic but slightly alkaline. Avoid skin contact and wear gloves and protective clothing.
