Application
Surface Preparation
The substrate must be sound, clean, free of dust, loose particles. All cement laitance, oil, grease, and dirt must be removed.
As a Bonding of new concrete to old concrete
Saturate old concrete with water. Thin Estobond PVA with clean water (1-2 liters per 20 kg) if too thick. Apply with a brush in a stippling motion for full coverage. Apply Estopatch repair materials immediately while primer is wet. Reapply if Estobond PVA dries over 8 hours at 20°C.
As a plaster bonding agent and cement rendering
Seal the surface & prime with Estobond PVA : water = 1:1 add with cement. Then plaster/render while the bonding is still tacky.
Storage
Store Estobond PVA in a dry, covered place. It has a 12-month shelf life unopened, but less in extreme heat.
Precaution
Estobond PVA is non-toxic. It is slightly alkaline; therefore, skin contact shall be avoided. Wear gloves and protective clothing.
