Description
Estobond SBR is a single component white, milky emulsion based upon modified SBR type resins.
It is formulated for use with Estopatch concrete repair mortar system and as a bonding agent for concrete and mortar, concrete topping and screed, waterproofing and cementitious slurry.
It is resistant to hydrolysis and therefore can be used in external or internal applications.

Application instructions
As a bonding agent
Preparation
For effective concrete repairs, remove damaged concrete to expose reinforcing steel and saw-cut edges to avoid feathering. Pre-soak the area for 1 hour, remove excess water with a stiff brush, and then apply Estobond SBR.
Mixing
Estobond SBR is supplied ready for use. Do not dilute with water or solvents of any kind. Pour milky liquid into suitable container ready for application onto previously prepared substrate.
Application
Saw cut treated areas to 10 mm depth and remove damaged concrete. Apply Estobond SBR with a brush using stippling, not painting. Apply Estopatch repair materials immediately.
Warning
Do not over-apply Estobond SBR to prevent slippage of repair mortar. Apply Estopatch repair mortar while the primer is still wet or tacky. If Estobond SBR dries for more than 8 hours at 20°C, reapply before proceeding.

Mix Designs
OPC : 150 kg, Zone 2 sand : 150kg, Estobond SBR : 10 litres, Water : add sufficiently to give required consistency
Precaution
Estobond PVA is non-toxic. It is slightly alkaline; therefore, skin contact shall be avoided. Wear gloves and protective clothing.
