Description
Estocell is a compressible, bitumen impregnated fibreboard, supplied in sheet form. It is used to form and fill expansion. Joints between in-situ and precast concrete construction.

Installation Instructions
When using Estocell for concrete expansion joints, place it against the shuttering before pouring. Copper nails can be used to prevent displacement in suspended slab joints. Bond Estocell to existing or previous pours using Estoflex GP or similar adhesive, ensuring no contamination of the sealing slot surfaces.
Joint Sealing
Place a removable timber former on top of Estocell to create a joint sealing slot. Install Estocell to the full slab depth and trim with a power brush machine as needed. This method is used for housing estate roads, which are sealed after all construction is complete. Tamp Estocell down to ensure complete joint filling and sealant support.
