Estotect EP 405

High solid polyamine cured epoxy lining.

Nontoxic, epoxy resin, protective coating and waterproofing lining for concrete and metal. Two components high solids epoxy for tank lining, interior of steel tanks, pipelines, vibrating feeder, splash zone. Swimming pools, reservoirs and water treatment works.

Description

Characteristics

  • Good chemical resistance against a wide range of chemicals

  • Provides a waterproofing barrier or lining

Application Data

Trowel, Roller Recommended

Estotect EN 405 Base : Hardener = 4 : 1

Base: 16 kg
Hardener: 4 kg

Estotect EN primer dosage 0.25kg/m2 / 200 micron.

Should be 10oC – 49oC, at least 3oC above the dew point to prevent condensation

10 hours at 25oC, 5 hours at 32oC

Keep away from heat, sparks, and flames. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin or eyes. Store in a cool, ventilated area. Use safety equipment and ensure proper ventilation during use, especially in confined spaces.

Surface Preparation

Steel

Abrasive blast to ISO Sa 2.5 or SSPC SP 10 for a 25–50 microns profile. Remove residue. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and contaminant-free.

Concrete

Cure concrete for 28 days. Remove laitance by acid etching or abrasive methods. Apply Estotect EN primer, wait 1 day, then apply the body coat.
