Description
Estop Backer Rod is a compressible closed cell polyethylene foam joint filler, supplied in circular cords lengths as a backup material for Estop cold applied sealant range. Estop backer Rod compatible with Estop Sealant – Estoseal T600, Estoseal C200PF, Estoseal C500 and Estoseal 109.
Store in dry and covered condition.

There is no known health hazards associated with Estop Backer Rod in normal usage. Do Not puncture, fold, or crease backer Rod.
Installation Instructions
Use Estop Backer Rod by selecting an oversize rod and pushing it into the joint with a blunt tool to avoid surface damage. Choose a rod diameter 20-25% larger than the joint width (e.g., use 25 mm for 20 mm joints) to achieve the required sealant depth. Avoid stretching the backer rod; gently force it into the joint to fit tightly against the sides.
